In all the restaurants, bars and clubs, and even if you are 50 years old, you will be asked to show your I.D. if you want to drink alcohol or just enter in spaces where alcohol can be served.
What is an I.D?
It’s your local ID, and you may not be able to order alcohol or enter certain places, that’s the law and it’s taken very seriously in the US.
Your local identity card is totally sufficient to identify your age in the United States.
